Which accounts should we call this quarter, and what do we say?
A seller who knows an account like they work there opens a different conversation. The model gives every seller that starting point on every account, on the day of the call.
Read the account before the first call: who serves it, what is in flight, who decides, what they run, and the reason to call now.
10 jobs this record does, in the words the work is described in.
Each one is a read of the same account record rather than a separate product, and each carries the method that produced every line and the date it was last read.
The seat that owns the program you sell into, verified in role, with the reporting line graded separately.
The dated events that make this quarter different: a migration named in a primary document, a function opened, a supplier lapsed, a disclosure that commits capital.
The incumbent, the direction of travel, and the gap between what the company says and what its hiring does.
A modeled wallet for the function, labeled as modeled, with the benchmark that produced it.
Three ways teams answer this now, and where each one runs out.
| The usual approach | Where it breaks |
|---|---|
| A research analyst reads everything the company has published. | It takes days per account, and it covers what the company chose to say about itself. |
| An intent feed scores the account on web activity. | It reports that something happened, without saying what, who caused it, or whether any budget exists. |
| A seller asks a colleague who used to work there. | That is one person’s memory, already out of date, and it stops at the accounts someone happens to know. |
One retailer, read in September 2026
| Reason to call | One primary document names three legacy BI tools and the cloud warehouse replacing them. Budget has cleared and delivery capacity is being hired. |
| Who owns it | A store-operations analytics team of 20 to 40, two open roles, under an SVP-level technology seat in place since 2023. |
| Who is already inside | Fifteen suppliers with evidence in the last twelve months. The largest is a staffing firm, not an integrator. |
| Wallet | Technology, $863M to $2.6B, modeled top-down and cross-checked bottom-up within 17 percent. |

Common questions
Intent data scores an account on web activity, which is a different thing. The model records what the company is doing, with the source, the date and the confidence on every line, and the record holds whether or not anyone at the account has visited a website this month.
Each fact carries its own refresh interval. A disclosed figure changes when the company next reports; a primary document or a seat is re-read on a cadence of days to weeks. The date on every line is the date it was last read.
Name it on a demo request. If we hold it, you see it on the call. If we do not, we build it before the call.
